i apologize for all of this, haha, im just really excited and i want to make sure everything is perfect when i get to making my suit
first;
im far sighted and i wear some pretty strong glasses. i can see without them, but after a while my eyes start to strain and it isnt fun. im going to see if i can get some contacts, but if that doesnt work out i'd like a backup plan so i can wear my glasses with the suit head on, any ideas on how?
second;
i'd like to know how much foam/fur is typically used to make a partial (head, hands + arm sleeves, feet + leg sleeves, and tail) i plan on stuffing the tail with poly fiber fill and making plantigrade leg sleeve... things, so i wouldnt need extra foam for those, and ive worked with foam in the past, so im much more confident that i wont need more in case of error, but im just worried about the fur, so if you could please just put a good range of how much fur to get, that would be great!
third;
where to get said fur. ive found a place to buy foam that i need (i plan on getting mainly 1 inch with maybe a yard or so of 2 inch and 1/2 inch) sure its pretty expensive but, it's the best i can do since there arent many craft stores near i live
so the big problem is where to get fur.
^ theres the character ref just in case (he's based off of clay terran from ace attorney, lol)
i'm mainly looking for white, dark gray/black, and navy blue shag, along with either red minky or faux leather for the nose/pads/tongue, i havent decided which to use yet.
i found a very nice looking navy blue on a website, but theyre out of the other colors that i need and i'd prefer to just buy them all at one place to avoid extra shipping costs

^ the link to the blue that i need/would like
fourth;
i want to have claws on both the hand paws and feet, but the only plastic ones i could find seem rather sharp looking, and id prefer to have a duller edge, is there any way to sand them down without making them look super cruddy? or if anyone could just provide links to duller edged claws, that would be amazing! (and maybe links to teeth, because i'm absolutely clueless on that)
fifth;
as shown in the ref above, the character has a bandage on his nose and i'd like to know how to achieve that in a way that it could be removed so the suit could be washed/brushed without interference
i was considering making a strip out of craft foam then securing a magnet on the sides, and do the same on the inside of the nose but that seems a bit tedious, so i'd like to know if there would be better alternatives that wouldnt show too much
sorry for all the text/questions, whoops! im not looking for one person who answer all (but if you'd like to, go on ahead!) but i'd prefer help from multiple people, the more the better!
cheers and thanks to anyone who could provide assistance
