Hand-paw help

(This is legit my first time on LJ and its all kinda confusing so bear with me)

So I made these "puffy fingers" for a more toony look and I'm not quite sure how to add them. I had them on a pair of gloves but once glued on they where to tight, any suggestions?? Thanks
(They are kinda still in a WIP state)
