Long hair problems

Silly to ask this but... Does anyone else have issues wearing fursuits and your hair accidentally slipping out?

I would REALLY rather not cut/shave my hair, I've been using a ponytail tie and tucking it into the back of my shirt but it always comes out when I wear my fullsuit.

I thought one of those swimming caps would work but would that be an issue when wearing for a long time or cause too much pressure? The material is silicone. When I swam years ago for my state I would go absolutely nuts wearing a cap for several hours at meets.
