I've read a lot on making the pouches, or pockets in other cases as well as going through the memories section. I've also read Matrices tutorial on how to make legs, but I'm not the greatest at understanding things like that. If someone could explain it better for me I would appreciate it!
I was wondering if it would be possible to make a plantigrade cut out of a DTD and create more of a 'pants' like underleg that would then be sewn to the actual digileg padding. I was thinking about making the padding by laying the DTD on its side and tracing the leg onto a large piece of cardboard, then using that as a base to draw how I would want the digilegs to look. After that I was planning on cutting out the pattern on fabric and sewing the two legs together over the pants that I had made as well. I was thinking about stuffing the legs and sewing the two ends shut, then covering the whole thing in tape and cutting it out to use as a fur pattern. Some foam would probably be nice to use as well, more in the butt and calf area to give it some firmer shape.
Any suggestions on if this would work? Hopefully I explained it alright.
