World of Warcraft Blue Wind Rider

A future suit I want to do into next year for Comic-Con has me a bit eluded. I wanted to do a scorpion tail for a  World of Warcraft Wyvern or Wind Rider for the Horde.

There are several other things about the suit that I want to be practical with, but if I can do it, I want to do it.

This is the culprit. This guy, right here...
I wanted to be realistic with the size of the wings. I want them to be bigger than usual for wings that are designed this way on a fursuit. I've seen Pteradactyl fursuits with wings that were much smaller than these. How big would be appropriate? I've seen bat suits and flying dinosaur fursuits with wings much smaller than I want to do. Should I stay about that small or can I get away with bigger?

My question with the wings is, should they stay smallish so I can fold them and walk with them or can I get bigger and learn how to be conscious of them in their sheer size?

Now, for the tail. The tail, drawn here isn't very scorpion-like, I know. Fleece would coat the tail. Should the skeleton of the tail be solid foam or hollow foam?

I've noticed I like longish tails, so I might start making tail leashes for my fursuits. With SnowBunny,I found myself carrying my tail quite a bit. Mostly to keep people from stepping on it.
