I have been working on my first pair of digitigrade legs (don't mind the fact there's a piece of flat foam running where my leg will go, I have a method i'm using to make it work out... However....
*I feel they will turn out to be too flat. I could only find memories and tutorials showing legs like this without rounding the sides of the leg. Is there any references to how it should look if the sides are rounded *(maybe just the foam base)*? I could just add flat foam or shape foam circular but I wont get the muscles looking right... Or would I? Should I just carve from what I have now (I think that would still be too flat on the sides of the legs)- please help out!
Dorumon: Critique wanted! Also questions on moving jaw hanging and head being too heavy...
Dorumon fursuit questions:
*I have made the jewel on the head with melted plastic, same goes for the border around the jewel. This however made my head WAY too heavy!! I added nylon straps with a buckle and adjustments that goes around the back fo the head but its still really heavy. What can I do to either create a lighter weight jewel-see-thru-like-item that is a very large triangle, or is there a better way to make it feel lighter? Other straps?
*The moving jaw likes to hang open after I furred it. Even though the straps feel snug and comfortable around my head... It might be the weight of the bottom jaw, but how can I fix this?
*GIANT tail: How do you exactly attach a 4.5 foot large tail to one's body? XD Is there links/references to straps that can hold a lot of weight around the waist?
I also modified my first fursuit head from WAY way back! I added the nose and modified the eyes....
What is good to use for cat whiskers? Something not too cheap looking and stiff and not too see-thru like unpainted fish string. Is painted fish string recommended?
Critique please? I always have thought the jaw should be a different shape and maybe add some teeth.
