I'm looking for a blue green fur to make a Hippogryph partial, based on the hippogryphs in World of Warcraft.

that gooorgeous blue-green color you see on the hips is giving me hell to find. I've only found one fur that works, and it's a 1" bunny fur from mendels. I need something longer to go over the hooves and not sure how well the bunny will blend with, say, the black lux shag form fabric.com, even with airbrushing...

NOTE THE PERFECT COLOR.
BUT ALAS IT'S TOO SHORT. besides i need the face to be made of mostly this color too, and some orange accents, but the thing i'm worried about is the blue-green. i don't want anything to vibrant, ya know? i may jsut give in and get navy blue instead and adjust the whole thing, maybe turn any navy parts purple and the orange parts more yellowish... but i just love the blue green and it seems wierd that there'd only be ONE fur in that color.
any ideas? anybody know where to find a longer fur in this color? i coule make do with even a 1.5" but 1 just seems way too short [i have a sample coming anyway so i can see about blending it with others for where it needs to be longer]
