Hello All You Furries and Fursuit Makers Alike!
I am new to making fursuits, and plan to create a little studio business with my mate. Today I finally got a jump on making my first head from foam. (I'm also going to do resin.) It's a red panda, and I currently only have one side of it most of the way done. I'll be doing a lot more work on it tomorrow. But after working on it for 3 1/2 hours tonight, I'm beat. Heh.
My plan is to cover the foam around the eyes with black felt, there will also be a balaclava base created tomorrow so my face wont be directly on the foam when I am wearing it. This one is a personal suit, a set of red pandas owned by my mate and I and we plan to have three partials done by Anthrocon this year. I think it's do-able since there are two of us.
Essentially, right now, I'd like a bit of critique on the shape I have thus far.
Any suggestions people have for me would be greatly appreciated. At this point, I'm aware the the bridge of the muzzle is a bit higher on the left side, the nose looks disconnected and I plan on fixing that by shaping it more, another strip will be added to the chin, and the left temple area.
Thanks!
