Tools of the trade that often go unmentioned

So I've noticed I use a fair number of tools that it does not appear many others use. Which kind of baffles me a bit, due to how often I use them.

Anybody else have any?

A pair of "thrum scissors." It's only about 4" long and less than an inch wide, but it's very ungodly useful to get into tight spaces. I have no idea what I'd do without these. If I am trimming up around the mouth, teeth, eyes, nose, or other high-detailed spots, I use these. They also cost only about $1.50.

Diamond hone/stone for sharpening tools. Also an ungodly useful tool, I'd have to replace a lot of pairs of scissors otherwise, and clipper blades. You're usually looking at ~$7+ for one, but the money it saves is quite nice.

This stuff is fairly well known, but I thought I'd point it out again anyway. For those that do not know, ( http://fursuit.livejournal.com/666710.html )it is a terrible idea to use this for a head!  However, I found it very time-saving and a great alternative to use it for making mothermolds when resin casting. I usually just put it straight over some plaster cloth to make a light mothermold to hold the silicone in. Since a can only costs about $4 (and it can stand up to being dropped a fair amount) it tends to be a nice investment.

Anybody else have some tools or supplies that don't seem to get mentioned often?
