Working on one of my first resin heads. It was casted nicely and cut exactly how I wanted, but moving onto the hinged jaw and padding... I have a bit of an issue that has been irritating me for days now.
Having padded the head my second time, I hoped for better success - which, yes. I did have more comfort, but the jaw is not wanting to commuicate with me. I'm not too sure how the go about padding the head correctly with foam, and am getting frustrated.
The resin head moves as a whole when I try to articulate the jaw, which has become uncomfortable because the head begins to slide down my face and push against my brow. You can see what I mean in the video...
Padding looks crazy on the inside. I got desperate and
tried a bunch of things, but it really didn't stop the jaw from moving
the whole head when it would articulate.
The elastic had to be added to the inside of the head because it could be
more maintained, and because the green canvas that covers the inside of
the mouth - it has mandables, seen in the video. And I can't cover those
up. They're going to show after furring. The whole inside looks like a
mess, and I'm much at a lose anymore of what to do.
Any help is greatly appreciated..
