Bleeding airbrushing

After a con several months ago, I realized that the colors on my heavily airbrushed suit rubbed off pretty obviously on the white parts of its fur in areas that rubbed a lot like the upper arms. It's visibly tinged blue-green and unsightly and I really hope there's some way to get rid of it and hopefully prevent the bleeding from continuing. I've heard of airbrush restorer being a possibility for trying to deal with the stains. But I haven't found something conclusive for how to stop the source of the problem other than that the fact that the paint was only a week or so old before the con where it bled may have contributed to it, and letting it sit for several months now may have helped.  The airbrushing was done with watered down cheap acrylic, which probably had to do with it as well since I've heard about acrylic paints being more susceptible to it.

Basically, could I remove acrylic paint stains with Createx Airbrush Restorer and is there anything cheaper/more easily available that would work like alcohol or something?  And how can I stop/reduce the colors rubbing off in the future?
