so i've been having a lot of trouble sewing fur on the machine. I really want to start sewing on the machine more to save time but it seems no matter what I do the fur gets stuck in the seams. and so stuck that it can't be brushed or picked out :/
I tuck the fur in as I sew with a stick, that helps a little but it still is slippery and gets stuck. ESP with short pile fur. I try to keep the seam allowance as small as possible.
i've even tried increasing the length of the stitch, 1 still gets fur trapped and is really hard to near impossible to brush out without destroying the backing from the brush and trying to pick it out does nothing it wont budge but 2 isnt strong enough I feel to safely hold it together.
is there something special makers do? i'm really not sure what im doing wrong but its very frustrating.

EDIT: if it helps im using a heavy duty singer sewing machine, with a ball point 100/16 needle (I believe) and regular thread that everyone else uses. I dont use the heavy duty thread on my machine, only when hand sewing.
