Slim digitigrade legs

So I'm working on another suit of mine, and I'd like to have digitigrade legs... the problem is that I have a close fitting fursuit head, and my body type is quite small. I would like to have the digitigrade illusion without having a small upper body, and huge thunder thighs. I'm using matrice's method that involves pillows, but I keep getting these H U G E legs. Now don't get me wrong, I do adjust the amount of stuffing, but it's always bigger than I'd like. Is there anyway I can make the legs proportionate with my body, or do I have to settle with bigger legs.
