Sewn Tattos on different fur types

Hey so I'm new here and while I did check the to see if this had been asked before I couldn't find anything so I'm reallt sorry if this has been asked before.

I'm currently making my fursona who has some tattoos on his right arm and shoulder. I'm planning to sew them instead of air brushing, however I'm a little stuck on how to go about it.


For the white fur [aside from the spots and butt] I plan on using the Shannon Beaver fur (1/4 inch pile) and for the blue it's the Shannon Luxury Shag (1.5 inch pile). Since the tattoo goes over both the blue and white I'm torn between doing,
A. Black Beaver on the white, Luxury shag on the blue.
B. Black Luxury shag and shave down for the white
or what a friend suggested
C. Black beaver for the whole tattoo and "fade shave" to blend it

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
