How does one go about attaching resin claws *cleanly*, using this pattern? I don't know if it would work very well, since this pattern includes soft claws (fleece or vinyl).

I would just make and attach soft claws, but I have some resin claws from FursuitSupplies that I really need to get rid of.
I doubt I could just... glue them in where the seam for the soft claws would be. There would be a raw edge to contend with, for one thing.
Also, I'm not having much success with ladder stitching fur; it's because I'm basically sewing blind, since I'm sewing from the front side of the fur (not the backing). This makes hiding the stitches very hard, especially since I prefer the fur shaved very short. (On an upcoming project, I'm using fur with a pile length of only 8 mm) Any tips for hiding the stitches would be greatly appreciated.
