Safety when Squeaking (IN MODERATION.)

Since red pandas twitter and chirp like birds, and squeak as well, I am going to get a Swiss Warbler bird whistle for my red panda/cat hybrid suit. I see a lot of squeaky suiters (like Telephone) who can run around, dance, and move their head a lot without injuring themselves on the squeaker. Like swallowing it, for example. Is there a specific way to prevent yourself from swallowing the squeaker? How big is it, anyway?
