I've made 3D eyes and 2D eyes, but I can't seem to grasp the complete understanding of what is being done to make Closed/Squinting eyes on fursuits. I am planning to use it on a future project, for a character with smaller eyes, but not sure how to go about it.

I was thinking of using black foam sheets and black buckram, but I was having a hard time picturing how supportive the eyes would be strength-wise. Unless they're suppose to be weak support? Any ideas?

I would love to test an idea with velcro, but I'm having a hard time finding the size I need. Needing both the hook and loop to velcro. I'm needing a size that's at least 8in wide, but cant seem to find anything on it that comes with both the hook and loop sides to velcro. The ones I do find are separate from each other and cost a fortune for a simple square I'm needing. I wouldn't mind purchasing a roll if I could find anything at a decent price for 8in wide velcro.
