Hey folks, I'm making my first fursuit head and trying to decide on what material to sue for the eyes. Obviously buckram is the most popular, but I've seen a couple suggestions for crinoline, which supposedly doesn't warp when exposed to water like buckram does. But I've found so few instances of people who use it in my searching, so i wonder if there must be other drawbacks to it that make it less desirable.
I guess I don't plan to be exposing the eyes to water much anyway, but I'd worry about potentially having to wash that area, or even posing for photos if it snows or something (which i see people often do!) I also live in Seattle, so what if I get caught in the rain?? haha.
Thanks :)
