Hi everyone I hope this is the right place to post this. If not I'll move it.
Recently I had started to build a suit with adjustable eyebrows as I am working on furthering my technique and creating more vibrant expressions etc however since I have posted images of my progress I have been catching some flak about "ripping off of MFL". While I don't ever want to take away from another maker (I did contact them btw but they have not responded yet so..) I just can't see how someone can copyright or police something like this so only their suits can have this? Now mind you it wasn't MFL themselves contacting me but other random people. I have pulled all the works in question down until this is resolved but I don't want to do this and end up on A_B. :( I am really kicking off my fursuit making business and don't want to have this issue looking over me.
So my question is, am I justified in saying that not one single person can make something like this and no one else? I have physical photographic and text evidence of other makers/builders using adjustable eyebrows. I am able to use a technique like this just like I could with adjustable tongues or remoable eyelids right? I am still waiting on a response from MFL as well that way I'm respectful and cover all my bases but just figured I might get a faster result here. Thanks for the Input and advice everyone!
