WIP fursuit, looking for advice.

Hello everyone! I've been (slowly) working on a new fursuit, and the head is almost ready to start being furred. I've made a couple fursuits before, and they all just came out "ok". I really want this one to be good, so I'm looking for some help to see what needs to be fixed, I'm not 100% satisfied with the face shape right now, but I'm having trouble putting my finger on exactly why... right now, I'm thinking everything is too wide?

I'm trying to make a toony canary. I have zero drawing ability, but I found a reference sheet that look very similar to what I'm imagining the character to look like:

I'm not a fan of the lower jaw structure of that one though, and was looking to have more of a jaw/lower beak structure like this fursuit:

This is what I have so far, would it be possible for anyone to redline it? I would like to also point out that it looks very "loose" right now because very few parts are actually glued down, almost everything is pinned on. I know I'm going to have to tkae off/redo some parts, and I just hate trying to cut through dried glue. So if I have to adjust anything, it shouldn't be AS much work lol.

I think I will also probably cut off the enclosing part of the back, and just leave bare balaclava, I think leaving it on will make the head bulkier than it needs to be (I have a big head).

This is what I have so far:
