Hey guys!

I'm working on my second-ever partial/costume (for Anime Expo this year) and I'm running into the same issue I had with last year's costume. I simply have no idea how to create a pattern for the top of the head, back of the neck, shoulder, and throat areas. :{

I'm using a DreamVision Creations fox blank, and I am using a styrofoam head to hold the mask while I work. I will be installing a zipper in the back of the head once it's finished.

I've read a couple of tutorials; one gave me a pattern and another suggested using plastic grocery bags to create a draped pattern for the neck/shoulder areas, but I tried both of these ways on last year's costume and the results were ... less than ideal and required a lot of fixing, and the pieces still didn't really sit right once I finished and put the head on.

This will be a partial, so the head will be standalone.

Does anyone have any tips, tricks, or tutorials on how they make the blasted neck/shoulders/throat area? XD
