First Fursuit Head Progress: Questions About Muzzle & Nose

Here is the progress I have made on my first fursuit head- he is a red panda (kind of hard to tell right now, I know).

I am happy with the muzzle length, but how can I make it more pointed? It looks too round to me. I want it to look a bit more like my concept art. (I'd experiment with this myself, but I don't want to risk messing anything up)
Is the nosebridge/forehead slope alright, or should I build it up more?
How should I go about attaching the nose mockup? (It will be made out of foam) Do I make a paper template, then carve out a shallow space on the front of the muzzle(so it's not just stuck on the end)?
