So, I'm working on my second head. The character is a deer like thing, head structure is basically deer though. Anyways, I'm making the head balaclava based to keep it small since the likely wearer is rather petite. My first head was all foam and obviously lacking experience as this is only my second attempt. So, the ears, I'm a bit worried about them falling off. They are glue pretty well to the balaclava but being a deer there isn't much surface area to glue down. Am I being too concerned? Any suggestions as to how I could build them up without ruining the anatomy?
My other concern is the muzzle. The foam is wanting to twist and I am toying with ideas as to how to straighten it..it's glued down pretty good but again the balaclava has so much give it's not really supporting it as well as foam would I don't think. I'm thinking feeding a wire through the foam might hold it straight...again just thinking.
