What buckram for all buckram eyes?

I've been thinking of making my Jolteon Fursuit eyes entirely buckram.

They will be follow me eyes and I think since his eyes are already mostly black, I could pull off making them completely buckram.

My question is, what buckram to get? I'm planning to get it from Fursuit supplies who have the options of: tightly woven (harder to see), loosely woven (easy to see, but more noticeably woven), or black buckram (easy to see, but more noticeably woven). I'm going to paint the entire eye, so I don't think I need black buckram.

Now I need to know if I should get loosely woven or tightly woven? I got to borrow my friend's new Lemonbrat Fursuit for a day at a con, and it's eyes were entirely buckram and had amazing vision!

So whatever buckram is most similar to this Fursuit's eyes would be nice.
