That flap of skin at the corner of the mouth? You know, this thing?
How would one go about creating that on a foam base? I know on resin bases, a lot of times people will make a slit in the head for a triangular piece of somethingrather to go up into and then only show when the mouth is open... I don't see that method working out so well on a foam base. It's too flexible for something as precise as a slot.
So... What on earth do I do? I considered using a stretchy fabric, but I don't want it to pull too tight and mess up the moving jaw or be too loose and sag outside of the mouth, both of which I can see happening all too easy. Has anybody pulled off something that works better?
