So right before halloween I bought this mask for $40:

I made my first feet paws for this and had ordered some cheap handpaws on amazon for some fun at work. After I built my feet paws I did more research and have built a fursuit head now (foam base) but now this thing that I only paid $40 for sits in my stash of things. It already has a moving jaw AND a jaw set (though cheap, but I'm okay with that this would be an experiment anyway) I've been contemplating stripping it down (because the fur sucks on it, is very course and I know it won't shave well) replacing the eyes (because they are pretty wonky, lol) and basically using it as a base. Would be cheaper than buying a new base and I'd be using something I already have so I'm thinking about it considerably.
Has anyone else done this before? I know I can built it up with foam and such. I have no issue getting new fur for it. Just curious of others thoughts. :)
