Critique on head, ears and want it slightly more realistic

Hey! This is a reindeer head I bought from somebody and want to do a little modification for a tiny bit more realistic style. Mostly regarding the shape and foam work, i'd like the eyes to be kept quite toony :D

Is the way I placed my ears okay? I used to have them back further, and I plan on attaching them with the part attached to the head held together so it looks folded naturally. They were upside-down in the photo XD sorry, they have a slight tilt going upwards not downwards at the point.
