Questions about spray glue

I've been trying out 3M 90 spray glue as an alternative to hot glue since I'm terrified of hot things and people seem to say it's better for softness/flexibility. I have a few things I'm not sure on, though.

- How long do I have to wait for the glue to dry before being able to cut through it? I don't want to get wet glue on my scissors, but it's often necessary to cut through two layers of foam while carving.

-Related to the above question, how do you even make a head with spray glue in a reasonable amount of time? I tend to go in and constantly add little pieces to fix symmetry but it seems like it would take forever to make even one headbase with spray glue with how it seems to take hours to dry from my experimenting :/

-How do you fur a head with this stuff? I've heard of people using it for that, but I can't see how that would work with how messy/large the spray is. Or maybe I'm just doing something wrong.

-About how long does a can last in fursuit terms (how much stuff can you glue with it)? I'm mostly just curious about this one.

-Is there anything that will damage the cured glue/bond that I should know about?
