Fabric.com's Seal vs Beaver furs

I did some digging through memories/other posts but wasn't able to find a definitive answer so I thought I'd ask here too~

I recently received a coupon via email from fabric.com and since getting fur in Australia is often ridiculously expensive I intend to take advantage of it. Unfortunately true to style this coupon expires in about 4 days so I don't have time to get swatches D:

In your opinion, what's better quality, Fabric.com's seal black or their beaver black? Since they finally have seal white back in stock I will be getting that- so I'm leaning towards the seal.

I noticed the beaver was 8mm and the seal is listed as 18mm. I had always assumed the beaver would be longer pile but there you go xD
I was hoping to use these seals on fursuit faces, fingers, toes etc where I need shorter fur. That being said I was also thinking about making an Umbreon fullsuit- so I wanted to know if seams are impossibly difficult to hide in seal or beaver? I know they'd be a lot more difficult than luxury shag but yeah.

I also noticed they have black Mink fur... not sure what that is comparatively.

And other 'new' furs too. Monkey and Weasyl. At first I thought they had just changed the name of Gorilla to Monkey but nope they're different listings. Just looking at the prices...they're probably not going to be that good in the quality department. Especially the weasyl- but I suppose you never know till one gets swatches!

Thanks for reading this <3
