Since I'm at the point of cutting out my pattern made from my DTD, I had a quick question about darts that I hope someone can clarify.
I understand that I should cut slits into portions of my pattern so that it will lay flat before transfering it to the fur, but the part I'm confused on is what do I do with the negative (triangle) space that is created when the pattern is then laid flat? Do I trace the triangle portion into my fur, and then sew the dart lines together?
Just concerned that it won't end up creating lumpy spots where the fur then has a folder underneath.
