So it finally happened - my clippers suddenly refuse to cut fur properly, and I'm trying to determine why.
Knowing that this problem usually lies with misaligned blades, I've removed and reinstalled the blade assembly about six times now, to no avail! I've consulted the offical instruction manual, unscrewed the base plate, realigned the teeth, reapplied the oil, cleaned fur out of the case, the whole thing. Do any of you have any tips on what to do in this situation? Maybe there's something I'm missing here.
For reference, it's a $45 set of Wahl clippers, bought new, used to shave down four fursuit heads. It's not a cordless model, and has only the one blade it came with. It was behaving fine the last time I used it, and now it sort of stalls and feels "stuck" when I try to run it through fur.
