Hello fursuiters! I'm an "intermediate" fursuiter, and have posted here on my old accont a few times. Today I have a few questions about beaks. Im making a king fisher fursuit for furfright, and the creature's long, thin beak has me baffled. I don't know how to tackle it's somewhat complex shape while possibly keeping it movable. I find that moving jaws on balaclava hoods don't tend to work very well. Is there a better way to build movable jaws over balaclavas that still retain their movement and expression?
Also: would anyone be willing to sell me about 6 balaclava hoods? The only ones i can find cheap online are either fleece or $30ea. I live in the USA.
