It's taking forever, but I'm finally getting close to finishing my Typhlosion mask! I'm currently "skinning" him in anti-pill fleece, but I've come across an unexpected problem. (Please bear in mind that nothing is glued down, so there is a little extra bagginess.)

I figured out that you can drastically reduce the appearance of seams by picking the fibers out of them, similar to what you'd do with fake fur. In the bottom photo, the center seam has this done to it while the left-most one has not. Unfortunately, I cannot hide the bulk. I've trimmed the seam allowance as much as I dare (about 1/8 of an inch in some places x.x) but there are still lumps. I was hoping the foam would get squished down under these, but it doesn't seem to be working. Any ideas? I don't want Typhlosion to have a lumpy head D:
