Dorumon Digimon Leg (Critique?) ((((Pattern only))))

NOTE: This is for pattern purposes only, I would never allow wire inside of a costume like this especially chicken wire. Basically, I did a paper mache type of thing for a rounder appearance instead of foam. This will be the pattern I use for the fur and part of the pillows inside to stuff inside of the fur--- what is shown is basically what is going to be thrown out/recycled and the duct tape is what i'm building the pattern from, :3

Critique: Please critique the shape if I need any adjustments?
*I've seen some examples of fursuit digitigrade with the feet sewn to the legs, I am planning on doing this method. At first I was skeptical that feet can not be manuevered very well being sewn directly to the leg or showing wrinkles while turning one's foot. So I think I may want to try this seeing that it has worked for digitigrade before unless said otherwise.

LegRedlines
Lineart original by merrycalliope's, I modified it a little bit. I also wanted to stylize it a little bit, since I don't think the knee sticking out so much appeals to me so much compared to this more rounder style I want to give a shot at.

I have made digitigrade in the past using foam, but couldn't get this rounder appearance. I do know how to attach the final legs to a body, however i'm inexperienced with the pillow padding that will be located between the legs and underneath the fur pattern. - I kind of want to make the leg pillow all one piece with a hollow hole for the leg but that sounds quite hard to walk in due to lack of space between the knees.

. And attaching them inside of the leg i've heard of mistakes people have made with the pillows shifting and messing up. Is there a good way to attach the pillows inside of the leg?

How do I get the pattern for the pillows to fit inside of the leg just right without wrinkles due to shapes being incorrect. Yes I have tutorials from matrices and some others, but just don't get it I suppose. I'd like to make the stuffing all in one piece if I could, but dont know if that's the best option. Shouldn't there be two shapes for the front of the leg above the knee so the knee can bend? The entire leg would require stuffing on all four sides to get it fully stuffed.

I think i'm just going to make the pattern with lycra the same for the fur and the same for the stuffing part, leaving a cylinder hole for the legs and sewing it together.

Where can I find some cheap lycra? Found some on ebay, but is there any place else that's cheap, like $5/yard or less?
