Hey everybody,

I'm working on a new suit project, and it's coming along well for the most part...  But I've had an issue with the lower jaw that I'm not quite sure how I should solve.  This is my first all-foam head with a moving jaw, so I haven't had experience with this before.

Below, I'll show a couple photos of the head with the jaw closed, followed by what I want it to do, and lastly what it really is doing.  I'll put them behind a cut to save your friends' pages:

Here are three images of the head from the front, side, and bottom.  You can see how I have the jaw separated from the rest of the head:

Now here is what I want it to do (obviously):

But here is what it's actually doing...  It's just flexing around my chin and opening more in the back of the mouth than at the front:

My current idea for fixing it is to maybe put a piece of cardboard or something rigid as a plate under the chin, fastened about 1/3 the way up the lower jaw, to keep it all moving together rather than allowing flex just at the back.  Anyone who's ever encountered this problem, I'd love to hear about your solutions to it.  Thanks a lot in advance!
