Help on neck flaps?

I got a head from furbuy that had a really long flap and I decided to cut it.
With it being my first head I messed up and now it's to short at the sides. When I tilt my head to the sides my hair ends up showing. 

The head is made of one color fur and I can't seem to find anywhere, and I've tried bandanas and scarfs but they don't seem to help much.

Any suggestions on what I can do to try and cover up around my neck or fix the flap?
