I have a request for a more kigurumi style mask (the anime girl sort, not the PJs), She is supposed to have a softer, kitten-y, doll-like look and would be built using more along the lines of fursuiting techniques than traditional kigurumi. In our chats about the project we've discussed the possibility of using a non-pilling polar fleece as skin to get the soft, cuddly appearance.
So my questions are aimed at those who've used polar fleece as a covering. How do you feel the fleece has held up over time? Have you experienced any issues particular to the material? If you want to share photos I would love to see your work, especially if the mask is somewhat older and has seen some use.
Thanks all!
