So I'm making a pair of horns for a commission (and may also be on a new personal suit and hope to sell more casts of them.) and I've sculpted them out and they are relatively very close to being symmetrical. I figure hand sculpted things can only can so close to perfection and no one would really notice unless they took a ruler to everything.
Anyways the horns are quite large and curl down (like a rams).
I'm having an annoying back and forth attempt to try to smooth out my sculpts as evenly as possible but it still likes to be a tad rough/lumpy. Ive let the sculpt sit to harden up a bit and put the fresh clay on top in small bits to help fill in the areas.
Am I being a perfectionist or is there a better way of doing this?
