using long fur to make head hair

okay, so I said I didn't ever really want to do this way of hair, but the long black fur I have and the fact the hair is short, I thought it might turn out pretty good.

I have a couple questions though. First, how is the bottom side of the fur done (so it isn't just a flap of fur with factory backing showing underneath). Do you stuff the fur a tiny bit to give it more "volume"? Also how do you secure the hair to the head.

I looked through the memories and couldn't find anything on this subject.
