Preferred brand of liquid latex?

This is only tangentially related to fursuiting, but I figure you guys are basically the experts on latex casting, so this would be an okay place to ask (mods, of course please remove this post if it isn't). I have a friend who wants to start making her own facial prosthetics using liquid latex, and she was wondering if there's a particular brand that's better for layered (slush?) casting of thin costume pieces like that. She first wants to make an either plaster or resin cast of her face from a latex mold (with a plaster mother mold), and then build things like elf ears, cat noses, probably gore makeup, etc. fitted to that cast.

So, is there an especially excellent brand of liquid latex, or are they all basically the same? What should I recommend to her for making facial prosthetics?
