Ear Attaching

I want to attach my ears to my fur head. But they are forced to curve in such a way that pinning them down doesn't even keep them to the head. They want to unfurl and come away from the head. How in the world am I going to attach them to the head with them pulling and forcing the fur? I want them to be sturdily attached so they don't lose their shape or come off...

I don't know if this makes any sense ):
