Scuply clay and hair dryer

I don't have any money for apoxy sculpt like most people use on their resin masks, that dries after application for eyelids, but I do have sculpy clay.

The problem is, its on a foam mask and I wanted to treat this foam head with tear duct vision. Well I"m a bit iffy on how to glue the eye lids to the foam and it sticks and works right, let alone the eye-lids keep their shape after I peel it off the eyes and bake it.

Is it possible, without damaging the resin eyes too much, to heat the clay to more of a hardened state with a hair dryer? I'm thinking, though, the resin eyes will take damage, though. I just don't know how to make clean, good craftsmanship that actually fits the eyeball, if its hardened all ready or warped.

Any advice on how to maintain the conformity of the sculpy to the round edges of the eye, but have it hardened that way?
