My commissioner is wanting this shape for feet:

But they want them made from socks. o.o I have never made these before and honestly have no idea how to begin. Also their feet are bigger than mine, (size 8 in ladie's vs size 10-11 in ladies), I have a feeling this will cause fitting issues for my commissioner as well as how the paws will look over all (foam may not be in the same place on their feet as opposed to mine).
My style of fursuit foot building is on de-thonged flipflops with parade soles on the bottom out of doormats. Like this:

That way, someone can just give me their shoe size & I can build accordingly. De-thonged flipflops=pre-cut foam pieces for base! Yay! BUt sock paws are baffling me. I tried the bit of foam I glued to a sock for the top of it, and it was in a different place when my boyfriend tried it on (size 12-13 in mens). That is where my concerns stem from. Thank you in advance for any help you can give me!
