I have been failing to post things here as I make them, here are my most recent four

Customer commission of her "hell pony" vainglory. Braided wire core tail (has a nice swing to it) hand wefted hair, ears on springs, LED eyes (not lit) vision out the neck, semi-poseable wings which attach via magnets (pocket inside shoulders holds inner magnet plate in place) eyelashes are made from feathers snipped from my silky rooster's chest. The cast resin antelope horns are from Magpie Bones, all the rest is hand made by me.

This also has a simple unicorn horn made upon customer request... but in all honesty she looks best with the pair of horns, I had to widen her forehead to accommodate them and without the antelope horns she looks odd.

The first actual hippo fursuit that I know of, until now I have only seen mascots (and most of them cheap looking)

I can assure you this fursuit looks deceptively simple, that head shape, and the seam work, was very hard to do. Those feet have more seams in them than any pair of feet I have ever sewn, and the head took me days to shape right. We decided to simplify the hands and feet and overall go for a very cartoon look. This fur is beautifully shiny and plush but shows seams maddeningly well, even when picked at with a brush and a pin.

the jaw does move and the eyes have a follow effect illusion.

Photos taken by my sister-in-law and modeled on my brother X3

PS the legs are too long/large on my brother, should look less wrinkled on the customer

Shots of the eyes before I installed them to show off the subtle pupils (I actually sent these to the customer for approval after I came up with the idea)

When I asked I was told I did not have to capture the color markings 100% but I tried (the tail was hardest, with that I decided to go with what came natural)

The fringe of sparkle fur on the arms was added with approval

Horns, claws and feet pads from Dream Vision Creations.

I liked making this one, I want to make less species type costumes and more "things"

With crux suits I am always so in love with the results but man when compared to most the suits I make they are just more difficult every step of the way...

So this may be the last crux you see from me.

DAT TAIL was such a pain, love the results but eeek what a pain D:
This tail is held up with two belts - it features belt loops both in the middle of the base of the tail and along the top, the base ones support the weight and the ones along the top keep it from sagging away from the body.

- Claws and paw pads from Dream Vision Creations

- Please do not mind the wrinkles in the hands, the hands and feet are much too big for the model.
