Well, I finally decided on the project I want to make this year, since it will go with all the themes of parties I will be attending.Allow me to introduce: The "Kawaiithulhu" I found out that my design is surprisingly similar to Chibithulu from the card game munchkin Cthulhu. I <3 munchkin and didn't know this existed until now, so this is what I am doing. Here is a side by side of my "original" idea and the plushie Chibithulu.
(First one is the very quick drawing I made this morning with lazer mouse, lol)
Anyways I was thinking of doing vision through the enlarged eyes on chibithulu, or adding the blush and doing vision out of there using pink material. I also plan on using fleece for the main material.
An existing fursuit for shape reference:
For the head I already made a ball out of plastic canvas that I can stick my head into. It is very roomy and allows for ventilation and room for a fan, but am now a bit concerned about reinforcing the ball, as it seems to want to bend inwards instead of out.
I have until Halloween to finish this costume.
ANY help, suggestions, links, etc will be VERY helpful. Basically I need help with making such a large, round head, changing the body shape, and hiding fleece seams, but every bit of advice helps!
