Digitigrade boot concept sketches

I'm trying to work out a concept for digitigrade-looking boots. I don't want full digitigrade legs like I've seen pictures of.  I've got a couple sketches under the cut of the sort of idea I'd like to try.  This is my first time working on a fursuit, so any tips or comments would be helpful.
