So, brainstorming. Or, well trying. Basically, I'd like to have paw pads for a pair of sock paws I'd like to make in the near future. After asking some initial questions, it would seem it would be in my best interest to keep the paw pads on the thinner side. I'd like something with a bit of grip, and have had a few different types of fabric recommended to me that I'm kind of considering.
Um. But my question is this. I'd really like the paw pads to be gold and preferably sparkly. Is there anyway to do this and make the paw pads so the color/sparkle won't rub off? I'm contemplating maybe dying some fabric, but not sure how the sparkle effect can be achieved. I found a spray that can go on fabrics that's supposed to keep things from slipping (I think it's meant for carpets and stuff, but I figure maybe it could work for fabric paw pads?)
Thoughts?
Basically, trying to figure out a method/and or material to get thin gold/sparkly paw pads. Thanks guys!
