IX fursuit - How to achieve this jawline/neck fluffy fur effect ?

Hey guys ! New to LJ and first time posting here. :) I've been lurking here for such a looong long time ! I'm working on my first realistic fursuit, my fursona character IX based on an Iberian wolf.

My head so far :

Everything is going fine but I have hard times to figure how to cut and sew on fur around my resin base head to reach this result :

I have long pile cream fur and dark grey as the top of the head... I just don't know to make the right pattern or place furs to achieve this fluffy effect from bottom of the ears to the top torso and such...

Help me please ? :3
