Hi, I wish to ask for some advice... :/
I purchased fur from fabricexchange.com and their photos are much darker than the fur color, so I need to dye 5 total yards of uncut purple fur. I have already experimented on it with large containers of acrylic paint from walmart, and also small 2oz bottles of acrylic paint. I've brushed it on, i've soaked it in and I let it sit for 2+ hours. Sadly, it washes out instantly unlike other fur i've dyed in the past. It is darker than the fur.
How can I dye this fur so that is stays consistent without having to boil 5 yards of fur in a small pot all at once? Is there anything under $20? Why is my fur not dying at all? I will take photos here eventually, I tried to dye it on the white fur and it dyed it very very very very slightly in a light amount. Should I just let it sit for 12 hours instead of 2?
