Here's an interesting one: Platypus/dragon hybrid

TL;DR: Help!





OK so this is more or less what we're up to... sorry for the currently slightly craptacular photos.

So yeah... Platy-dragon.

The biggest problem we face is the fact that dragons have very square, pronounced lower jaws and a platypus' lower bill thing is more or less invisible from most angles. I'm trying my best to get the lower jaw to read like it's mounted in the right spot, the first few tries ended up looking like the face was just hanging off the front of the skull :/

Mostly worried about big form and landmark kinda stuff, these photos were a result of about an hour of furious foam pinning and cutting to see how it'd turn out :P

they don't exactly have a "duck bill" as such - We've tried our best to maintain the shape of that big plate they have between their eyes for shovelling through gravel etc

I'm aiming to have the dragon-ness come out in the jawline & temples - show theres some big chompy muscles going on there
